2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 g6 This is the Accelerated Dragon variation of the Sicilian Defense. 5. Nxc6 ... Unfamiliar with the theory of the Accelerated Dragon, I go out of book here. Looking at the GameKnot database, Black wins significantly more frequently when White plays 5. Nxc6; so clearly, I need to study the opening theory. More usual is 5. Nc3 or 5. c4 (Maroczy bind). 5. ... bxc6 6. Bd3 Bg7 7. c3 Nf6 8. 0-0 0-0 9. Re1 Qc7 10. Nd2 d5 11. h3 e5 12. b4 a6 13. Nb3 Bb7 14. Nc5 Nd7 15. Nxb7 Qxb7 16. a4 Rfd8 17. Qc2 c5 18. exd5 cxb4 19.
