This photograph was from an outing to Cypress Creek Park on a warm, late December day in Austin. The temperature was in the low 70's. This dragonfly was on the ground a couple dozen yards of Cypress Creek where it runs into Lake Travis. Normally, this area would be underwater, but the Texas drought continues to keep lake levels low.
